Vinayakan to Play an important Role In Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil Movie!

Actor Vinayakan will be seen in an important role in upcoming movie Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil directed by debutant director Tinu Papachan. Angamaly Diaries fame Antony Varghese is playing the lead role of the movie. The latest poster for Swathanthryam Ardharathriyilil features Vinayakan along with Antony and from the looks of it, the State Award-Winning actor has bagged another potential role after his much-appreciated role Ganga in Kammatipaadam.

With director Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Oru Katta Local Padam Angamaly Diaries, actor Antony Varghese aka Pepe became a favorite of the Malayalam cinema viewers. Besides Antony, Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil will also have Vinayakan and Chemban Vinod in lead roles. 

Interestingly, the movie also has Lijo Jose Pellissery sharing screen space with Antony Varghese. Reportedly, the director who has done a number cameo appearance in movies like Sapthamasree Thaskaraha and Mayaanadhi, will be seen as a lawyer this time. He is also one of the co-producers of Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil.
And the movie will have newbie Aswathy Manoharan as the female lead. Aswathy will be playing Betty in the thriller, that boasts of some high-voltage action scenes.The movie revolves around a young man who is employed in a finance company and how his life changes overnight following an unexpected incident. Director B Unnikrishnan is bankrolling ‘Swathanthryam Ardharatriyil’ jointly with Chemban Vinod Jose and Lijo Jose Pellissery. According to director Tinu Pappachan, Antony’s character will have no resemblance to Vincent Peppe of Angamaly Diaries.“Antony plays Jacob, a guy who works in a private firm. 

In fact, the story is rooted in his perspective. This is a thriller with some high-voltage action scenes,” says the director. Though the director is tight-lipped about Vinayakan’s character, he says Chemban will play a funny guy. “Both are lead roles, just like Antony’s character Jacob. Chemban will have the typical Kottayam slang too,” he says. The movie will also feature a few faces from Angamaly Diaries, like Tito Wilson. “Yes, it is a kind of an Angamaly Diaries reunion. Lijo Jose Pellissery and Chemban Vinod are the co-producer, then cinematographer Gireesh Gangadharan will crank the camera. Shameer Mohammed will be the editor. The movie will be shot at Kottayam and Mangalapuram,” he adds.
