Pooja Hegde to play the heroine of Prabhas in his next Movie!

Recent reports say that actress Pooja Hegde has been finalized as the leading lady opposite Prabhas in his next film after Saaho. The project marks Prabhas’ 21st movie which will go on floors from July this year.

After signing the project, Pooja Hegde interacted with a media house and said, “Prabhas proved himself with Baahubali and now it’s my turn to prove myself.” She also said that it’s a great opportunity to work with Prabhas who has earned global acclaim with Baahubali. The former Miss India contestant went on to say that her movie with Prabhas is going to be an out and out romantic entertainer which will be directed by Jil fame Radha Krishna and produced by Rebel Star Krishnam Raju’s Gopi Krishna movies banner.
When asked if she was intimidated by the thought of working with the actor, here’s what she had to say – “For me, it was intimidating to work with Hrithik as well. But I managed that fine. I don’t look at this film as something that should intimidate me. It’s an opportunity to prove myself.”The movie will release in Telugu and Hindi. This is not the only project in her kitty. She has also signed on two other mega films.She will be seen opposite Mahesh Babu in Vamsi Paidipally’s next. She will also be part of Trivikram’s next with JR NTR.

This is the first time, she will be seen opposite all three stars. She has already proved to be a great pair with Allu Arjun in Duvvada Jagannadham. Her next with Prabhas will be her second Hindi film after Mohenjodaro. While the historical drama opposite Hrithik Roshan bombed at the box office, she was taken notice of in the film.

Meanwhile, Prabhas has been busy shooting for Saaho. The actor knows that the expectations are high and so does his director Sujeeth P Singh and therefore the crew is leaving no stone unturned to make this action thriller a complete entertainer. But the film is taking longer than they thought to be made due to all the technical aspects, VFX and high-end action sequences where international action choreographers are involved.
