M Jayachandran’s to do the Music of Mammootty’s Mamankam Movie

New reports from Mollywood says that M Jayachandran will be doing the Music of Mammootty’s Mamankam Movie. Music director Jayachandran himself announced about this through his Facebook post. 

His Facebook post reads,” Here I am, in Dubai, with my producer & dear brother Shri Venu, director Shri Sajeev pillai & lyric writer Shri Ajay Gopal, composing music for the upcoming epic film project ‘MAMANKAM’ starring Mammootty Sir. It is a musical too …It is indeed a great honor to compose music for the film & I feel proud to be part of team MAMANKAM…..I love Dubai & the ambiance here has inspired me to compose songs so close to my heart…Thanks to Venuchettan for believing in me & extending all the support….Updates on the project will follow from time to time…” 

Mamangam is produced by Venu Kunnapally under the banner of Kavya Films. Many famous actors from other Film Industries will be part of the movie. And also famous, technicians from all over India will be part of the movie. 
The historical drama Mamankam will get a start in February 2018 in Mangalapuram.The film, based on the medieval fair Mamankam, which was celebrated every 12 years from 800 AD to 1755 AD, will tell the story of brave warriors of Malabar. Set in the 17th century, the film will be directed by debutant Sajeev Pillai. Mamankam festival was held on the banks of Bharathapuzha in Tirunavaya and would attract brave warriors from across the country who would congregate on the banks of the river to showcase their skills at combat. 

Some sources reported that, It’s the tale of the brave warriors of Malabar. During the Mamankam festival held at the banks of Bharathapuzha in Tirunavaya, soldiers from all over the country used to come together to wager battles and combat.This movie is about a brave leader and his loyal soldiers.The rest of the cast and more details about the character of Mammootty will be revealed soon.
