Here is the list of Malayalam Movie Releases in January 2018

January 2018 is having a lot of movie releases including Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi movies. Mammootty’s Streetlight and Pranav Mohanlal’s debut movie as a hero ‘ Aadhi’ are the main Malayalam movie releases of January 2018. Not only these two, movies like Shane Nigam’s Eeda, Jayaram’s Daivame Kaithozham K Kumarakanam, Kunchacko Boban’s Diwanjimoola Grand Prix, Biju Menon’s Rosapoo, Suraj Venjaramood’s Abhasam, are the other Malayalam releases expected in january 2018. Surya’s Thaana Serndha Koottam and Vishal’s irumbu Thiraii are the Tamil releases of January 2018. Director Anurag Kashyap’s Mukkabaz is the Bollywood release of January 2018. 

1.Street Lights
Street Lights is an upcoming bilingual crime thriller film of Mammootty, simultaneously shot in Tamil and Malayalam, directed by cinematographer Shamdat in his directorial debut. The film was produced by Mammootty under his banner Playhouse Motion Pictures and starring himself alongside a different supporting cast in each language.Street Lights will hit theatres on January 26th 2018. The movie will also be released in Telugu. 

2. Aadhi
Aadhi is an upcoming Malayalam action thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, starring Pranav Mohanlal in the title role. aadhi is the debut movie of Pranav Mohanlal as hero. It is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas.Aditi ravi, Anusree, lena, Siddique etc..are part of the movie. The movie will be released on January 26th 2018. 

3. Eeda
Eeda is an upcoming Malayalam romance film written, edited and directed by B. Ajithkumar. The film is an independent adaption of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet with Shane Nigam and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles. Eeda is produced by Sharmila Raja in collaboration with Collective Phase One. The movie wil hit theaters on January 5, 2018.

4. Daivame Kaithozham K Kumarakanam
Daivame Kaithozham K Kumarakanam is an upcoming Malayalam Comedy movie directed by Salim Kumar. Jayaram and Anusree plays the lead roles of the movie. Nedumudi Venu is playing an important role in the movie as God. The movie will hit theatres on January 12,2018. 

5. Diwanjimoola Grand Prix
Diwanjimoola Grand Prix is an upcoming Malayalam film directed by Anil Radhakrishnan Menon. The screenplay was co-written by Menon and Prasanth M. Nair, with dialogues written by Riyas Marath. The film features Kunchacko Boban, Nyla Usha, Nedumudi Venu, Siddique, Vinayakan, and Sudheer Karamana. The release date of the movie will be out soon. 

6. Rosapoo
Rosapoo is an upcoming Malayalam romance comedy film written & directed by Vinu Joseph. Biju Menon and Neeraj Madhav is playing the lead roles. Tamil actress Anjali is making a comeback to Malayalam after a gap of some years. Shibu Thameens produces this film under the banner of Thameens films. Soubin Shahir, Vijayaraghavan, Salim Kumar, etc..are part of the movie. The movie will hit theatres on January 18, 2018. 

7. Abhasam
Abhasam is an upcoming Malayalam satire starring Suraj Venjaramoodu, Rima Kallingal and Alencier in the lead roles. The movie is directed by jubith Namradatt. The release date of the movie will be out soon.

8. Thaanaa Serndha Koottam
Thaanaa Serndha Koottam is an upcoming Tamil movie starring Surya. Keerthi Suresh is playing the female lead of the movie.The movie is directed by Vignesh Shivan. The movie will hit theatres on January 12th, 2018. The Film is an adaptation of 2013 Hindi film Special 26. 

9. Irumbu Thirai
Irumbu Thirai (English: Iron Curtain) is an upcoming Tamil action techno thriller film directed by P. S. Mithran. The film features Vishal, Arjun and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles, with Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the soundtrack. The movie is produced by Vishal Film Factory. 

10. Mukkabaaz
Mukkabaaz (English: The Brawler) is a 2017 Indian sports drama film co-written, co-produced and directed by Anurag Kashyap. It was screened in the Special Presentations section at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival and the 2017 Mumbai Film Festival. Produced jointly by Anand L. Rai and Phantom Films, the film stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Zoya Hussain, Ravi Kishan and Jimmy Shergill. Mukkabaaz is scheduled to release theatrically on 12 January 2018.
