Kalidas Jayaram in Karthick Naren’s Naadaga Medai Movie?!

We already reported that Tamil director Karthick Naren’s next movie is titled as Naadaga Medai and reports say that Kalidas Jayaram will be part of the movie. After casting Rahman in D16 and Indrajith in Naragasooran, the director reportedly is in talks with actor Jayaram’s son Kalidas Jayaram for his next film titled Naadaga Medai.

A confirmation on the same is awaited. To recall, the aforementioned film is a youth-oriented which revolves around a group of youngsters. If things get confirmed it will be Kalidas Jayaram’s third Tamil film as he awaits his Mollywood debut film Poomaram to hit theatres in March.

Poomaram is directed by Abrid Shine which has Kunchacko Boban playing a cameo. Naadaga Medai is Karthick Naren’s next movie after Naragasooran. The young filmmaker who made his debut with Dhruvangal Pathinaaru which featured Rahman in the lead role is going heights.
The director has announced his movie titled as Naadaga Medai which carries the tagline ‘The Wacky Drama Called Life’. Naadaga Medai would be produced under the banner Knight Nostalgia.The movie is a light-hearted film about the modern society through the eyes of youngsters with various perceptions about life will go on floors by mid of March, said by the director. Karthick’s debut movie, the investigative thriller ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru’ that was celebrated by critics and audience alike.

The originality of the story was highly appreciated and the film completed a successful 100 days in theatres.Sources close to the team reveal that, in all probability, Gautham Karthik and Kalidas Jayaram will be essaying the leads along with actor Rahman and Parthiban portraying crucial roles. Promoted as a light hearted comedy, the film has Ron Ethan Yohan as music composer, Sujith Sarang behind the camera and G taking care of stunts.

Karthick Naren is presently wrapping up his second film ‘Naragasooran’, which is tipped to be an action-thriller. Produced by Gautham Menon, the film stars Arvind Swami, Sundeep Kishan, Shriya Saran, Indrajith and Aathmika in the lead roles and is likely to release later this year.
