Iniya to play Mammootty’s wife in Parole Movie

Actress Iniya will be seen as Mammootty’s wife in Parole Movie directed by Sharrath Sandith. She was last seen with Mammootty in the movie Puthan Panam directed by Ranjith. 

As per reports, Miya George is also playing an important role in Parole. The movie is said to be based on real-life incidents and it will not be a mass entertainer. Most of the shoot of the movie is progressing in Bangalore. In an interview to a famous daily Iniya said that, “I play a Kottayam achayathi named Annie in the film and she and Mammukka’s character are a couple. She belongs to a family that migrated from Thrissur to Pala – Thodupuzha regions. An extremely naadan character, she mostly wears the typical skirt and blouse before marriage and saris, afterwards. The look is also very simple. Most of the shoot is over and my portions were shot in Thodupuzha. Only the songs are left, which will be done in the first week of December.” 

Parole is the debut directorial movie of Sharrath who was an Ad film director who has earlier worked with Mammootty for the Ads of South Indian Bank.
Iniya also said about her excitement to act with Mammootty, “I was too excited in the first few days, I guess. But things started falling into place soon, thanks to his guidance and tips. He was very supportive and while we were doing a lengthy, emotional scene, Mammukka asked the cameraman to take a close up shot of mine. It was a sequence in which our characters were having an argument. He even took the mike from Sharrath and directed the scene himself. Everyone on the set said he would do something like that only when a performance moved him. I felt really honored.” Siddique and Suraj Venjaramoodu is also playing prominent roles in the movie. 

In Parole, Mammootty will be playing the role of a convict and it is an intense and performance oriented role. And also, Telugu actor Prabhakar, who played the role of Kaalakeya in Baahubali: The Beginning, has been roped in, to essay a key role in the movie. 

If the reports are to be true, Prabhakar is appearing as the main antagonist in Parole.Parole, which is said to be an out-and-out crime thriller, is reportedly narrated in the backdrop of a jail. More details about the movie will be soon out.
