Mohanlal-Prithviraj movie Lucifer to go on floors in June!

Recent reports from Mollywood says that Mohanlal’s upcoming movie Lucifer directed by Prithviraj will go on floors in this June. Prithviraj’s debut directorial Lucifer is scripted by Murali Gopy. The makers are planning to get the movie rolling by June this year.

The anticipation surrounding actor Prithviraj’s directorial debut Lucifer starring Mohanlal is very huge right from the start. The makers are yet to announce the cast and crew of the film while some unconfirmed reports about actors Tovino Thomas and Indrajith sharing the screen space with Mohanlal in Lucifer are doing rounds in media recently. Some of the latest reports suggest that young actor Shane Nigam, who was last seen in Eeda, is also part of Mohanlal’s Lucifer. It is said that he will be appearing in a crucial role of Lucifer.An official announcement of cast and crew of the movie is yet to be out.

Lucifer was announced a few years back and was supposed to be directed by the late Rajesh Pillai (Traffic fame), who passed away last year.In 2016, after Pillai’s good friend Prithviraj read Murali Gopy’s script, he agreed to debut as a director with the film. Mohanlal, is currently busy with Odiyan’s final schedule, and after the movie is said to be taking a break before joining director Bhadran’s film.

Prithviraj too has Jenuse Mohammed upcoming film, which is a sci-fi and has the actor playing a scientist. The movie, which will have two actresses, will also be produced by Prithviraj. The movie would mark Prithviraj’s first venture as an independent producer after moving out of August Cinemas late last year.

It was only recently Prithviraj announced about his new Production house. Prithviraj and his wife Supriya, have rolled out a new film production company. Named after the actor himself, Prithviraj Productions wants to “give back to cinema,” a statement read.
