Mandakini Movie Shooting Started today

Mandakini Movie directed by Jenith Kachipally went on floors today. The pooja function of the movie which has the Premam stars was held today. 

The Premam team, comprising Siju Wilson and Sharafudheen, have found success whenever they have come together – be in Happy Wedding or Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela. For their next movie, they also have the company of Premam co-stars Krishna Shankar, Althaf and Shabareesh. Mandakini Movie is a Comedy thriller. It will be a youth-centric movie and essays the life of a gang of friends.The movie reportedly revolved around the instance that happens over a span of two hours in a night. The actress of the movie is yet to be decided. Rajesh Augustine, who produced the surprise hits Ithihasa and Style bankrolls the project under the banner of ARK Media. Recently the news of the “arrest” of five young Mollywood actors created a lot of fuss on social media.
The clip of a newspaper report, carrying the headline “5 young actors arrested” was widely shared on social media. The report carried the photos of actors Siju Wilson, Krishna Sankar, Althaf Salim and Shiyas. Soon, it turned out to be a film promotion strategy. It was the poster of Mandakini, an upcoming Malayalam movie which casts a crop of young talents and new faces. People would get an idea of what it is all about only by reading the detailed “report” on the poster. 

Meanwhile, Althaf Salim’s directorial debut Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela, starring Nivin Pauly, has won positive response from the audience. Jenith Kachappilly entered into industry as an associate director. He is the former assistant of director Mamas and Bijith Bala, he was the assistant director of the films Mannar Mathai Speaking 2 (2014) and Nellika (2015).
