Huge Sets in making for Mammootty’s Mamankam Movie!

Pictures of Huge sets for Mammootty’s upcoming movie Mamankam is out. According to reports, the first schedule of the movie will start in Mangalapuram. And also now reports say that Mammootty will be seen in four get-ups in the movie. 

And among that one will be of feminine nature. That particular getup will last for about 35 minutes in the movie. Mamankam is produced by Venu Kunnapally under the banner of Kavya Films. And the producer says that there will be five heroines, and among them, two will be from Bollywood and other two will be from Malayalam. A famous Tamil actor will be doing an important role in the movie. 

Twenty days of shooting is planned for the first schedule of the movie. Set in the 17th century, the film will be directed by debutant Sajeev Pillai. And Pillai, who has also written the script, says that apart from the action sequences, Mammootty’s character will also strong emotional connect with the audience. “We want it to be as organic as possible, especially because we are doing it in Malayalam,” he says.
Meanwhile, the actresses will join the movie only in the second schedule which will start in April. The film, based on the medieval fair Mamankam, which was celebrated every 12 years from 800 AD to 1755 AD, will tell the story of brave warriors of Malabar. Mamankam festival was held on the banks of Bharathapuzha in Tirunavaya and would attract brave warriors from across the country who would congregate on the banks of the river to showcase their skills at combat. Some sources reported that It’s the tale of the brave warriors of Malabar.

Mamankam will be one of the biggest big-budget movies made in Malayalam. 

Many famous actors from other Film Industries will be part of the movie. And also famous, technicians from all over India will be part of the movie. M Jayachandran is doing the Music of the movie. And also Mamakam Movie will have the VFX team of Bahubali Movie. Neeraj Madhav and Queen movie actor Dhruvan are said to be part of the Mamankam Cast. Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja and Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha (1989) are the other historical dramas of Mammootty.
