Dileep and Masterpiece director Ajai Vasudev to team up for a movie?

Recent reports say that actor Dileep and Masterpiece movie director Ajai Vasudev is teaming up for a movie. According to the director, talks are on with the actor but the project may not happen very soon. 

“In fact, this project was something Udaykrishna and I discussed long ago. We were planning to do this before Masterpiece. However, Dileep was busy with prior commitments, so we did Masterpiece first. Then, Dileep was also in talks with Udaykrishna for another project,” he says.And also the director said that they haven’t decided on the shooting date or genre of the movie. “We are yet to sign anything in this regard. Contrary to reports, this isn’t an action thriller,” he adds. In another interview he said that, “It is going to be a full on entertainer. As expected from a Dileep – Udaykrishna combo, it will be a laughter ride with a pinch of heroism from Dileepettan.” 
The director adds that the comedy movie will appeal to children. “Children always have a liking for Dileepettan’s characters and this will be no different,” he says. The untitled movie will be shot in and around Ernakulam. While Ajay Vasudev is busy with Mammootty-starrer Masterpiece which will release on December 22, Dileep has Prof Dingan lined up after Kammarasambavam, which will hit the screens next Vishu. 

Ajay Vasyudev’s second movie ‘Masterpiece’ starring Mammootty is all set to hit the theatres for Christmas. The movie is touted to be a stylish mass entertainer and the hype surrounding the movie is getting higher each day. Reportedly, Udhaykrishna, who has scripted ‘Masterpiece’ and Ajay’s previous film ‘Rajadhi Raja’, will be scripting this upcoming Dileep movie too. 

Meanwhile, there are also rumours about Udhaykrishna turning a director with a Dileep starrer. But however, no official word regarding the news are out yet.
