Actress Mythili to act in a Sinhala Movie

Recent reports say that actress Mythili will be next seen in a bilingual movie which is made in Malayalam and Sinhala languages. The movie which is titled as Lucknow is all set to be directed by Anil of the Anil-Babu combination. 

The announcement of the new movie comes ahead of the release of his first Hindi film. Lucknow will see Mythili appearing in the lead role. The film will be produced by Beena Unnikrishnan under the banner of Irish Green Films. The scripting is done by Viju Ramachandran.The film will also star Sudheer Karamana, Tamil-Hindi star Ramakrishnan, Malaysian star Santhini, and renowned Sri Lankan actor Jackson Antony. 

Actress Mythili made her debut in the 2009 Malayalam film Paleri Manikyam. Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha is a mystery film written and directed by Ranjith, starring Mammootty, Shwetha Menon and Mythili. It is based on a best selling Malayalam novel of the same name by T. P. Rajeevan, which said the true story of the first recorded murder case in Kerala.
Mammooty plays three characters in the film. The film introduced Mythili to the Malayalam film industry. Ranjith also introduced about thirty Malayalam stage artists through this film. The film tells the story of a private detective, who returns to his birthplace, a village called Paleri, to solve a murder mystery that occurred on the same night he was born. Upon the release of the movie, it got an ‘A’ certificate due to its violent and adult content. 

She has starred in over 20 films. She acted in Salt N’ Pepper which subsequently earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at 59th Filmfare Awards South. She made her playback singing debut with Malayalam thriller Loham (The Yellow Metal). More details about Mythili’s new movie Lucknow will be out soon.
