Jis Joy to again team up with Asif Ali for his next Movie!

Director Jis Joy has already found a place for himself among the promising directors of Mollywood with his second and the most recent movie Sunday Holiday which went on to become a super hit with the tag of a feel-good movie.

A grand success celebration of Sunday Holiday was held in Muscat recently and this young director is all set to start the works for this third movie which is titled as Vijay Superum Paurnamiyum. Interestingly, he is teaming up with actor Asif Ali this time too.

Jis Joy made his directorial debut with Bicycle Thieves which starred Asif Ali in a lead role. Sunday Holiday, his second movie, also had Asif in the lead. Mamta Mohan will play the female lead in this new venture.The movie will go on floors from April 20. More details about the movie will be out soon.
Jis Joy’s Sunday Holiday starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali was one of the finest feel-good entertainers which hit theatres last year. The movie did a good business at the box office and the Tamil-Telugu remake rights were sold within a few days of its theatrical release. Jis Joy’d debut directorial Bicycle Thieves was also an impressive flick.Both the movies Bicycle Thieves and Sunday Holiday had Asif Ali in the lead role. While Bicycle Thieves was an average one, Sunday Holiday which was released last year was a superhit.

Meanwhile Asif Ali is busy shooting for his upcoming movie BTech directed by Mridul Nair. The movie also has Aparna Balamurali as the female lead. Arun Kumar Aravind’s Kaattu was the last release of the actor. Mandaram directed by Vijesh Vijay is one of the upcoming movie of Asif Ali. And Venu directorial Carbon was the last release of Mamta Mohandas.
