Virat Kohli reviews Anushka Sharma’s ‘Pari’ as one of her best movies!

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are one of the most talked celebrity couples nowadays. Prosit Roy’s Pari: Not A Fairytale, starring Anushka Sharma as the protagonist, hits the theatres today. And while viewers queue outside theatres on the occasion of Holi to catch the film, Anushka’s husband and Indian skipper Virat Kohli watched the film last night during a special screening. 

Virat is bowled over by Anushka’s performance and he decided to shower love on his wife on social media. “Watched #Pari last night, has to be my Wife’s best work ever! One of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. Got quite scared but so very proud of you @AnushkaSharma,” he wrote on Twitter. Anushka openly praises her husband on her Instagram stories and Earlier Virat also expressed that he had loved the trailer of movie Pari, that has been produced by Anushka Sharma.
Anushka Sharma starrer Pari is yet another venture by Clean Slate Films, the production house Anushka set up with her brother Karnesh Sharma. The posters of Pari promised that the film is “Not a Fairytale” and so far all the promotional material of the film has maintained the same tone. 

Pari, starring Anushka Sharma, Parambrata Chatterjee and Rajat Kapoor, is a horror film that has been getting fans excited as they have never seen Anushka in an avatar like this. The film’s screamers and trailer built up a lot of excitement among the audience as the genre of horror films is quite under utilised in terms of good content.

Bollywood is in dire need of reviving this genre with some strong content and it is being hoped that Anushka Sharma’s Pari will do the trick.With her production house, Anushka Sharma has maintained the tone of bringing in new voices and new talent into the film industry. With films like NH 10 and Phillauri in the past, Clean Slate Films is determined to introduce newer voices into Indian cinema.
