Aditi Rao roped in for Mani Ratnam’s Multi-Starrer Movie!

Mani Ratnam is all set for a Multi Starrer and the movie has been in the news for its collaboration with the huge set of actors. Mani Ratnam has Vijay Sethupathy, Fahadh Faasil, Arvind Swamy, Simbu, Jyothika in his new gangster epic. 

AR Rahman is expected to do the music for this yet to be titled movie. Now the latest buzz on the movie is that Aditi Rao Hydari is roped in to do an important role in this movie. This will be Aditi’s second movie with the cult director. She has played the female lead role in Kaatru Veliyidai. This multi-starer movie will be produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies. Aishwarya Rajesh is also playing important role in the movie. The movie is said to be an action thriller. Cinematographer Santhosh Sivan is also part of the movie.
Mani Ratnam is planning to complete the shoot of the movie within three months from its start.Aayutha Ezhuthu was the last Mani Ratnam film that had a terrific cast. According to the press release, the team will begin shooting for the film and is expected to release in summer. Earlier last year, Ratnam’s romantic drama Kaatru Veliyidai opened to mixed response from the critics. The film starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari became a box-office dud. 

Fahadh Faasil has been grabbing plum projects one after another in Kollywood. After Mohan Raja’s Velaikkaran and Thiagaraja Kumaraja’s Super Deluxe, the actor has now finally struck gold by being part of Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film.The latest update from Mollywood is that Angamaly Diaries fame Antony Varghese has been roped in for Mani Ratnam’s upcoming Multi-starrer movie.The news has not been confirmed yet but rumours say that Antony is part of the bilingual. 

Antony is currently awaiting the release of his second movie in Malayalam, Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil by debutant Tinu Pappachan. Contrary to rumours that Vijay Sethupathi might be playing a cameo, reliable sources have confirmed that he plays a full-length character and will be seen as a cop. After making an impact as a rough-and-tough cop in Sethupathi, it’ll be really interesting to see Vijay don khaki for the second time. The film also stars senior actors Prakash Raj and Jayasudha, who have worked together in several films.
