Mammootty’s Abrahaminte Santhathikal went on floors in Kolanchery

Megastar Mammootty’s upcoming movie Abrahaminte Santhathikal went on floors recently in Choondil near Kolanchery. The first-day shoot was in a house in Choondil. The house will be seen as Mammootty’s house in the movie. 

Mammootty started shooting for Abrahaminte Santhathikal from the first day itself. Mammootty, who has been busy for the best part of 2017, had kicked off the New Year with another action entertainer Abrahaminte Santhathikal, which is directed by Shaji Padoor. We will see Mammootty in the role of a stylish cop in the movie. After portraying the controversial role of the cop CI Rajan Zachariah in Kasaba, the actor is all set to take on yet another police role in his next. 

Recent reports from Mollywood says that Mammootty’s upcoming movie Abrahaminte Santhathikal will have Kaniha and Anson Paul in important roles.The movie also offers Anson Paul his first opportunity to act alongside the megastar. Anson, who is on high after his performance in Aadu 2 recently, is thrilled about sharing screen space with Mammootty in the movie, scripted by The Great Father director Haneef Adeni.
While Mammootty plays a cop in the movie, director Shaji says, “He won’t be a typical uniformed cop in the film like his outings in Kasaba. Though the movie has action scenes and will be presented in a stylish way, it’s an emotional thriller at the core.”Mammootty’s police roles have always thrilled the audiences, the most remembered being the ones in Inspector Balram and Raudram. Meanwhile, the director of the upcoming film promises that the actor’s cop role this time will be very different from those he has played so far.Reportedly, Abrahaminte Santhathikal will feature Mammootty in the role of Deric Abraham, a police officer. Deric is one of the two sons of the titular character Abraham. The team is yet to reveal the name of the actor who plays Abraham in the movie. The rumor mills suggest that Mammootty himself will essay the role of Abraham in the movie. The movie is produced by Joby George under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments. The movie is expected to be a Vishu release.
