Dulquer Salmaan’s Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithaal movie team moves to Goa

Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan is now busy shooting for his next Tamil movie Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithaal. And reports say that the movie team had completed the first schedule of the movie in Delhi and now they have moved to Goa for the second schedule. Actress Ritu Varma of Pelli Choopulu fame is playing the heroine of Dulquer in the movie. 

And the movie team has chosen the beaches of Goa to can the scenes featuring Dulquer and Ritu. Said to be a story devoid of cliched romance sequences, the film will have Ritu playing a girl-next-door character with as much weightage as Dulquer’s. Sources close to the film unit say that both Dulquer and Ritu will have equal scope to perform in the film. Ritu will next be seen alongside Vikram in Gautham Menon’s Dhruva Natchathiram. 

It may be noted here that debut director Desingh is an associate of cinematographer-director Vijay Milton, who has directed films such as Goli Soda, 10 Endrathukulla, etc.

In an interview, the director said that Dulquer will be seen playing an IT professional in this commercial romantic entertainer. On choosing the title Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal, the director pointed out that the song from Mani Ratnam’s Thiruda Thiruda happens to be his favorite and hence he decided on the name. KM Bhaskaran is cranking the camera for the movie. 

Bollywood movie Karwaan, the trilingual Mahanati/Nadigayar Thilagam, and a couple of Malayalam films such as Oru Bhayankara Kamukan and Oru Yamandan Premakadha are the upcoming movies of Dulquer. And also the latest reports say that Dulquer had been roped in to play one of the lead characters of Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming movie Manmaraziyan. The movie is said to be a triangle love story which also has Vicky Kaushal and Taapse Pannu.
