Unni Mukundan’s next movie is titled as Chanakyatanthram

Actor Unni Mukundan’s upcoming movie directed by Kannan Thamarakulam is titled as Chanakyatanthram. And the movie is said to be an action thriller. 

Titled ‘Chanakyatanthram,’ the film is scripted by Dinesh Pallathu, who had earlier worked with him in ‘Aadupuliyattam’ as well. And, the latest update is that the actor will be seen in multiple get-ups. If the word of the director is anything to go by, Unni will play a con-man in the movie. 

In an interview, the director said that “Chanakya Thantram is a thriller packed with action. But, there is a strong romantic thread too. Unni’s character has certain suspense and mystery to it. He will be seen as a shrewd guy who has a few tricks up his sleeve. Though the movie is titled Chanakya Thantram, it will be a contemporary tale shot in and around Kochi.” He also added that Unni Mukundan’s character has grey shades to it. “He is the hero but then he has certain negative shades as well,” the director adds. 
Besides Unni Mukundan, Anoop Menon will also be seen in a significant role. The director says that Anoop’s character is equally important. “Anoop Menon plays a guy in another part of the world and certain incidents bring them together,” says the director. 

The film also has Sshivada, Sruthi Ramachandran, Sai Kumar, Ramesh Pisharody, Hareesh Kanaran, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Sambath, Jayan Cherthala, Sohan Seenulal, Dracula Sudheer, Muhammed Faisal, Arun and Niyas. The film’s music is by Shaan Rahman and lyrics by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri.Chanakya Thantram is being produced by Muhammed Faisal under the banner of Miracle Productions.The movie is also said to be a big budget movie.
