Kangana Ranaut to play Queen of Jhansi in Manikarnika

Bollywood Actress and National Award Winner Kangana Ranaut is all set to play the historical character of Jhansi Rani in her next movie. She has already done many astonishing characters in her movies and some of them bagged her the National Award. Now its Queen of Jhansi she is going to enact in her movie. The movie titled as Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is an Indian epic biographical film about the life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi. It is being directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain Co-Produced by Nishant Pitti of EaseMyTrip. Kangana Ranaut plays the title role of Rani Laxmibai in the movie. And recently the actress revealed a photo of her getup through Instagram. In the Picture, she is dressed as a Queen in white with a turban on the head and a Sword in hands. The picture is taken at Jaipur’s Amber Fort, where the shooting of the movie is progressing.
Historical figure Rani Laxmibai, Queen of Jhansi has played a crucial role in the First War of Independence. And this will be another Golden Feather to the cap of Kangana if she does the character well. Kangana has been trained in horse riding, Swordfight etc..and during one of the training sessions with Sword, she got injured on her Forehead. The actress is hard working for a better output of her character.  The movie was first shot in Hyderabad and later the team moved to Jaipur. The story of the movie is by Bahubali writer Vijeyendra Prasad. So there are great expectations for the movie. The movie will hit theatres on April 27, next year. Sonu Sood, Suresh Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi, Ankita Lokhande, Richard Keep, Nihar Pandya, Amit Behl are part of the cast.
