Aparna Balamurali to play a ‘chattambi’ character in Askar Ali’s Kamuki Movie

Actor Asif Ali’s brother  Askar Ali will be next seen in Kamuki movie directed by Ithihasa movie director Binu S.  Aparna Balamurali is playing the female lead of the movie.  And also she will be seen in a chattambi character in the movie. In an interview, she said that “I play a chattambi named Achamma in the film. It’s a very different from what I have done and a feisty girl in contrast with Askar’s visually impaired character.” Askar Ali made his debut with Honey Bee 2.5. Aparna Balamurali came to fame with the movie Maheshinte Prathikaram starring Fahad Faasil and directed by Dileesh Pothen.  She has now acted in many films with interesting characters. And her role in Kamuki will be more interesting according to reports. In the movie, Asker and Aparna are playing College students of the same college. Asker Ali’s character is named as Hari. The movie has been shot in Kalady. And the movie is currently in its post-production stage. More details about the release of the movie will be out soon. 
Aparna had already worked with Askar Ali’s brother Asif Ali in Jis Joy’s Sunday Holiday and Ratheesh Kumar’s Thrissivaperoor Kliptham. And also reports say that the actress is part of Asif Ali’s upcoming movie BTech, which also has Niranjana Anoop as the female lead. BTech is scheduled to go on floors in December, with the team aiming to film the vibrant New Year celebrations of the city.  Meanwhile, Asker Ali’s next movie Chembarathipoo directed by Arun Vaiga will hit theatres this week. Chembarathipoo is a romantic story set in a Village background.  Aju Varghese and Vishak Nair are playing important roles in the movie. Aditi Ravi and Parvathy Arun are playing the female leads of the movie.  Style starring Unni Mukundan was the earlier movie of Binu S before Kamuki movie.
