Amitabh Bachchan to team with Surya for KV Anand Movie?

Recent reports from Kollywood says that director Anand is keen to get Amitabh Bachchan on board for a crucial character for his upcoming movie with Suriya. A production source reveals that efforts are on to reach across to Big B and narrate the script. 

Suriya broke the news at the promo meet of his movie Gang, the Telugu version of Thanaa Serndha Koottam at Hyderabad, on his next collaboration (37th venture) with director KV Anand, with whom he had earlier given Ayan and Maatraan. Meanwhile, it was announced that the Amitabh Bachchan has already committed to Telugu project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which has Chiranjeevi in the lead. It is rumoured that Bachchan will be seen in an extended cameo portraying Chiru’s guru, a character which is pivotal to take the story forward. 
Incidentally, there have been reports that Amitabh Bachchan was approached to play a role in N Balakrishna’s film but he declined the offer. Following this, Balayya shelved the project stating that he wouldn’t do it unless Amitabh Bachchan agrees to do the role. 

Meanwhile, Suriya also confirmed that discussions are on with director Hari and Vikram Kumar for future collaborations. Suriya’s Thaana Serntha Kootam hit the marquee recently and is doing well at the theatres. The star will now move over to the Selvaraghavan directorial. Suriya has completed the first schedule of Selvaraghavan movie and the second schedule will start in Thanjavoor soon. 

Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Sing are the heroines of the movie. Reports are that the KV Anand’s film will start rolling after Suriya is done with this project. In the meantime, KV Anand will be completing the groundwork and assembling his star cast. This is the third venture of Anand and Suriya after hit movies Ayan and Maatraan.
