India captain Virat Kohli now breaks another Sachin Tendulkar record after his stellar-run in the 6-ODI series against South Africa. Kohli aggregated 558 runs in the series against South Africa— the most by a batsman in a bilateral ODI series. This includes three centuries as well.Following such tremendous performances with bat and as captain, Kohli breaks 900 point barrier in ICC ODI batting rankings. He becomes the first Indian to earn more than 900 points in the ranking; breaking previous best by an Indian of Tendulkar of 887.

However, Tendulkar now stands at 15th on the all-time list of highest ODI batting rankings.
