Trisha to play a double role in Mohini Movie!

Mohini is an upcoming Tamil horror thriller film written and directed by Ramana Madhesh in which actress Trisha will be seen in a double role. While one role is that of a baker, it is known from reliable sources that the other is that of an architect. 

The source tells that, “Yes, Trisha plays a double role in the film, and both are distinctly different from each other. She plays a baking enthusiast who also records and uploads her recipes on her own blog, and she also plays an architect. While there aren’t much differences in her physical appearances in the two roles, Trisha had to work hard on the different body language required for them. 

Her manner of speaking, too, will be distinct in each of her two roles.” Along with Trisha, Jackky Bhagnani is also in one of the leading roles. The film, which was predominantly shot across London, began production in June 2016. Titled Mohini, the film was announced as a production venture for Prince Pictures, with Vivek-Mervin as music composers and Dinesh Ponraj as the editor.  
According to sources, Mohni is based on supernatural incidents. Trisha is Mohini in the film and she will be applying prosthetics and special makeup for her role.The entire film has been shot abroad – haunted locations in the UK, Thailand, and Mexico. The creative team includes RB Gurudhev as Director of Photography and Vivek-Mervin duo for music. It also has Harry Potter’s technical team who will work on visual effects.

The movie also stars Yogi Babu, Suresh, and Poornima Bhagyaraj. Unlike her contemporaries, Trisha is no longer after star heroes and is keen to take up women-centric projects. Having recently walked out of Vikram’s Saamy 2 over creative differences, Trisha has about half a dozen projects in her kitty. She currently has Garjanai, Tamil remake of NH10, apart from projects such as Sathuranga Vettai 2, 96, Mohini and 1818 in her kitty. Trisha is also making her Malayalam debut with Shyamaprasad’s Hey Jude which also stars Nivin Pauly.
