Suriya’s next movie will have Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh as heroines!
It is confirmed that Tamil actor Suriya’s next movie with director Selvaraghavan will have two heroines. In 2017, SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu of Dream Warrior Pictures announced that they would be producing a film with director Selvaraghavan and actor Suriya. 
The film, which is touted to have an intense screenplay, was scheduled to commence in April 2017. However, the team took its own time to assemble the cast of this untitled film. 
Last year, it was reported that Rakul Preet has been signed as the heroine for the film. Though Rakul confessed that she is in talks with the team, she didn’t say that she had signed the movie. And a couple of days ago, the production house announced that Sai Pallavi has been signed to play the lead role in the film.On New Year, the film was officially launched with a small pooja attended by Suriya’s family and the cast.The shooting of this film will begin after Pongal (January 19), say some reports. Sivakumar Vijay of Irudhi Suttru fame and GK Prasanna will be handling the cinematography and editing of this movie respectively. 
But there were rumors that Rakul has been replaced by Sai Pallavi and that she had also lost the opportunity to act in AR Murugadoss’s film with Vijay. Some even wrote her off, saying that her career is over, given that she had no films in Tamil and Telugu. However, stylist Neerajaa Kona confirmed that Rakul is indeed a part of Suriya’s film and put to rest these baseless rumors.Stylist Neerajaa, who worked with Vijay in Mersal (for Vijay’s retro portions) will be styling Suriya, Rakul, and Sai Pallavi in this film. 
Confirming the rumours that have been floating for long, Rakul tweeted “Very excited to be working with the genius Selvaraghavan sir and Suriya sir. Looking forward to a great learning experience.#Suriya36”. Incidentally, Rakul’s last film in Tamil, Theeran Adhigaram Ondru, was with Suriya’s brother Karthi. Theeran was bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures who is funding Suriya 36 as well.
