Roopesh Peethambaran to direct Prithviraj in his next movie

Director Roopesh Peethambaran will be directing Prithviraj in his next movie. It was recently the director again turned into acting through the Tovino starrer Oru Mexican Aparatha and now he has many films in his hands in case of acting. And also he has announced the second part of Dulquer Salmaan Starrer Theevram. Theevram was directed by Roopesh. Roopesh also said that the movie will go on floors in 2019 and also it will have a new cast. “It’s not a sequel to Theevram exactly but will be a movie adhering to the theme of the franchise — which is about people taking the law into their hands to get justice for their victims. That’s why we didn’t want to repeat the same cast,” Roopesh said.
And Roopesh Peethambaran also said about the Prithviraj movie that “It’s a crime thriller and the audience can expect a mass film. I am currently re-working the script. The movie will take time to go on floors though as Prithviraj is expected to be busy with Aadujeevitham and Lucifer for the major part of next year, and will join the film only after he’s done with his commitments.” He said that he will start his directorial ventures after he completed his acting commitments. He is currently working on a comedy movie titled Angarajyathe Gymmanmaar with Dr. Rony, Rajeev Pillai, and Anu Mohan. He had also committed a few more movies, which will keep him busy before he starts work on the films. Meanwhile, Prithviraj is now busy shooting for Anjali Menon’s new movie, which also has Parvathy and Nazriya.  He also has Ranam/Detroit Crossing and My Story whose shooting is progressing. Vimanam is the next release of Prithviraj. Blessy directorial movie Aadujeevitham is his another upcoming movie. He will also make his directorial debut with the movie Lucifer starring Mohanlal and scripted by Murali Gopy.
