Mohanlal’s Neerali Movie a Vishu Release!

Actor Mohanlal’s upcoming thriller movie Neerali, directed by Ajoy Varma, which is currently being shot largely in Mumbai and Pune will have a Vishu, second week April release if all goes well. As per reports, Neerali is a small project which will be wrapped up by the end of March after which a lot of CGI work goes into it.

Neerali has two female leads in Parvatii Nair and yesteryear actress Nadiya Moidu who is playing Mohanlal’s wife. The supporting cast includes Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dileesh Pothan, Sai Kumar and Kannada actor Kiccha Sudeep. The movie has an all-Bollywood crew including popular cinematographer Santhosh Thundiyil. Santhosh T Kuruvilla is producing Neerali under Moonshot Entertainment banner. Mohanlal is currently busy shooting for this thriller in Mumbai. Recently, the actor shared the first look of the film and wrote, “I’m thrilled to be playing the central character of this movie that is packed with a lot of action and adventure.”
Actress Parvatii Nair, who is fresh off from the success of her recently-released Tamil film Nimir is sharing screen space with Mohanlal for the first time. An official confirmation regarding the cast is expected soon.

Meanwhile,Nadiya Moidu made her acting debut with Nokketha Doorathu Kannum Nattu along with Mohanlal, and now life seems to have come a complete circle with the duo starring together in director Ajoy Varma’s Neerali. The film also marks a comeback of sorts for her in Mollywood, where she still enjoys a warm reception. 

The movie scripted by newbie Saju Thomas is set entirely outside Kerala. And also reports say that the movie will mark the debut of Kannada star Sudeep in the Malayalam film industry. Sudeep is known to the industry through his role in SS Rajamouli’s Eecha. But there is no official confirmation regarding this. More details about the movie will be out soon.
