Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Ee Ma Yau Movie release on December 1st

Director Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Ee Ma Yau Movie will be released on this Friday, December 1st. After Angamaly Diaries Lijo Jose is coming with another surprise.  

State Film Award winner Vinayakan, Chemban Vinod, and Dileesh Pothen are playing the lead roles in the movie and also the movie will feature a set of newcomers too. earlier Lijo in an interview said that “The film is a satire set in a fishing village like Chellanam, Kochi. Apart from the trio, the rest of the cast would be those from the village. It’s a small movie so there’s no burden of expectations.” 

The movie is based on the story by Lijo and screenplay by PF Mathews. Shyju Khalid will be cranking the camera for the movie. Ee Ma Yau is produced by Rajesh George Kulangara. Eeso Mariyam Yausep is the expansion of Ee Ma Yau. According to reports, the director finished the shoot of the movie within 18 days. Three teasers of the movie were recently out and it has already created a wave of expectation among the viewers. 

Lijo Jose’s last movie Angamaly Diaries was a hit movie even though it does not have any superstars. The movie made a record with casting 86 new faces in the movie. And also the film features an uncut 11-minute long take in the climax featuring around 1000 artists. Lijo Jose Pellissery made his debut with the crime film Nayakan (2010), following it up with the crime-drama City of God (2011) and the black comedy satire Amen (2013), the latter being a big commercial success at the box-office. 

His fourth film was the experimental film Double Barrel, released in August 2015 to mixed reviews. Angamaly Diaries was his fifth movie. Actor Chemban Vinod was the scriptwriter of Angamaly Diaries. Lijo Jose is the son of late theatre-movie actor Jose Pellissery.
