Jayasuriya’s Aadu 2 to get a release on December 22

Jayasuriya’s Aadu 2 which is a sequel to ‘Aadu Oru Beekhara Jeevi Aanu’ directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas. And it is one of the much-awaited sequels of the year. The movie, as expected, is hitting theatres for this Christmas festival season which will be releasing on December 22. 

Actor Vijay Babu who is producing the movie took to his Facebook page to announce that the Shajipappan and gang are all set to return to the big screen on December 22. While Vijay Babu will also be reprising his role Sarbath Shameer in ‘Aadu 2’, the movie will have most of the actors from the prequel in their respective roles. 

Anson, who is touted to be the only addition to the cast, will be handling the part of the antagonist in the Aadu 2. It is also like the first part is a satirical comedy film. The music of the movie is by Shaan Rahman and Vishnu Narayanan handles the cinematography and editing is done by Lijo Paul.

Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeeviyanu is a 2015 comedy road movie written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas.Vijay Babu, Saiju Kurup, Vineeth Mohan, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Harikrishnan, Bhagath Manuel, Renji Panicker etc..are part of the cast. Jayasurya began his career as a mimicry artist and hosted a few television shows on Malayalam channels. He made his acting debut as a background actor in the 1999 film Pathram. His break-through was playing a mute in Oomappenninu Uriyadappayyan (2002). Jayasurya made his debut as a producer by co-producing the film Punyalan Agarbattis and is also credited as a playback singer in a few films. Punyalan Private Limited was his recent release. 

Captain is one of his upcoming movies. Jayasurya won the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in Apothecary at the 62nd Filmfare Awards South. In 2016, Jayasurya won the Special Jury Award at the 46th Kerala State Film Awards and the Special Mention at the 63rd National Film Awards for his performances in the films Su.. Su… Sudhi Vathmeekam and Lukka Chuppi.
