The Famous song Ek Ladki Ko Dekha to be recreated for Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor’s Movie!

We already reported that Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor will be sharing screen space with his daughter Sonam Kapoor in his upcoming movie Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. And now reports say that, the iconic song Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga will be recreated for producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s upcoming film of the same name, starring Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. 

Kumar Sanu originally crooned the evergreen number in the film, 1942- A Love Story (1994), which was picturised on Anil. Directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga went on floors last month in Patiala. Sonam Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Juhi Chawla joined the sets later. Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla are sharing Screen space after 11 years. The pair were last seen together in ‘Salaam-E-Ishq’ in 2007 and will now star in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’.
Sharing a picture from the sets, Sonam Kapoor tweeted Friday afternoon, “Even work feels like home with Dad & this amazing team! Here’s a glimpse from the sets of #ShellyChopraDhar’s directorial debut – #EkLadkiKoDekhaTohAisaLaga! @AnilKapoor @iam_juhi @RajkummarRao #VidhuVinodChopra #RajKumarHiraniFilms @foxstarhindi.” 

Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga will mark the directorial debut of filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s sister Shelly Chopra Dhar. Real life father-daughter Anil and Sonam will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in the film.Dhar said in a press statement, “Yes, we are recreating the original and we want to replicate its iconic status. It’s hard to beat the original so I will be happy if we are at par with it. However, we’ll have to wait and see who sings the new version and for whom in the film”.TV actress Madhu Malti essays the role of Anil’s mother and Rajkummar Rao play Sonam’s love interest.
