Fahadh Faasil’s Tamil debut Velaikkaran Movie Wraps up shoot

Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil’s Tamil debut Velaikkaran Movie wraps up shoot. Velaikkaran written and directed by Mohan Raja is expected to talk about social issues. Siva Karthikeyan and Nayanthara play the lead roles in the movie. Reportedly Fahadh plays Siva Karthikeyan’s friend. This is the first time that Siva Karthikeyan and Nayanthara will be seen together onscreen. The film is produced by 24 AM Studios. RJ Balaji posted a picture from the sets of the film on Sunday and captioned it, “And that’s a wrap for us in #Velaikkaran!”  The action thriller film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Ramji.
The film deals with how a young man from the slums fights against the food adulteration issue.The team recently shot a song in Ajmer, and pictures from the sets, and of the team visiting Ajmer Dargah went viral online. The second single from the film, composed by Anirudh Ravichander released to a good reception from fans. The film will also star Sneha, Prakash Raj, Rohini and RJ Balaji in pivotal roles. The film revolves around the struggles of a man, played by Siva, who makes efforts to bring about a change in the corrupt system of the country. What’s he fighting against, well we don’t know yet. But the teaser of the movie which was recently out promises an intense action film with a social message. Meanwhile, Fahadh had finished shooting for Malayalam movie Carbon directed by Venu. Anwar Rasheed’s Trance, Aanengilum Allenkilum, Untitled Sathyan Anthikad movie and an untitled Dileesh Pothen movies are the upcoming ones of the actor.  Dileesh Pothen’s Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum was the last release of Fahadh which was a hit in the Malayalam box-office.  Velaikkaran which was earlier scheduled as a Pooja release will now hit theatres during this Christmas season.
