Dileep’s Professor Dinkan Movie Release Date Changed

Actor Dileep’s Professor Dinkan Movie was earlier scheduled as a Vishu release next year but now the release date of the movie has been shifted.The actor has resumed his duties after he was released on bail on October, and a few of his movies have been rescheduled. 

The writer of Professor Dinkan is also reworking its script to align itself as a family entertainer. The movie, scripted by Rafi, is directed by Ramachandra Babu and is expected to be Dileep’s next movie after he finishes shooting for Kammarasambhavam, which is directed by Rathish Ambat and also has Tamil actor Siddharth. Professor Dinkan, which was initially scheduled to be a Vishu release, will now leave that spot open for Kammarasambhavam.The second schedule of Professor Dinkan, will start soon. According to director Ramachandra Babu, the shoot will resume immediately after Dileep wraps up Kammarasambavam. “We hope to restart by the end of December or January,” he said. 
However, the team has also decided to change the script. “We have gone for a slight change in the script. As per the new format, Professor Dinkan will be more of a family subject. The humour will not anymore be slapstick,” says the director. Ramachandra Babu says he has no apprehensions over the fate of the project. Professor Dinkan had to be stalled after Dileep was arrested after being an accused in the actor assault case.”Nothing has changed, except the fact that we won’t be able to release it during Vishu, like we planned initially. Since it is a 3D movie, there is a lot of post-production work, which will take time. So, the release date will be pushed anyhow,” says Ramachandra Babu. 

Dileep plays a magician in Professor Dinkan, that also has Namitha Pramod in the lead. Namitha Pramod is also playing the female lead of Dileep’s upcoming movie Kammarasambhavam.
