Casting Call for Thami Movie directed by KR Praveen

The casting call for debutant director KR Praveen’s Thami movie is out. The makers of the movie announced about the casting call for the movie through the movie’s official Facebook Page. This casting is a chance for new talents who wish for a career in Cinema. The movie wants Female Lead, Male Lead , Female Co-Lead and Male Co-Lead. The Female lead should be aged between 18 -28. And the Male Lead should be aged between 20- 30. And the Femle and Male Co Leads should be aged between 25-40 and 25-50 respectively. Since it is not a open audition call, interesting candidates can send a self introduction video and recent photographs to the following email adress, ‘[email protected]’ .From this candidates will be selected for final auditions. And the selected names for final auditions, audition centres and dates will be published through Thami’s official Facebook Page.

K.R Praveen who has made a mark of his own with his talents in the media field and advertisement field is now making a step into the film world. It was recently the title poster of the movie was out. The Title design of the movie is interesting since it has some mystery in it like the title itself indicates ‘Thami’. The movie has a subtitle also which reads, ‘The darkest night of his life’. Pavi Shankar, who has designed the titles of movies like Moothon, Abhasam, and Mohanlal, has done the title design of the movie. 

The story of the movie is by Praveen himself. The movie will introduce many newbies to Malayalam cinema. Many talented technicians from Malayalam cinema will be part of the movie. The Script of the movie is jointly written by Praveen and Satheesh Kumar, who is a famous Mimicry artist and journalist. Santhosh C Pilla, who has shown his talents in the Advertisement and Media field is cranking the camera for the movie. 

Thami movie is produced under the banner of Arts and Pictures. The music of the movie is by famous music director Viswajith. And the lyrics of the songs are by Fouziya Abubacker and Nidheesh Nadery. Art director Arun Venjaramoodu is in charge of the movie’s art direction. Zafad Zain is in charge of Costumes while Ligosh Gopinath is the creative director of the movie.
