Kerala Film Exhibitors have now declared that all A-class theatres in the state will remain to be shut indefinitely from Thursday, January 12th. Though the Chief Minister of the state, Pinarayi Vijayan intervened bot the parties and urged to end the strike, both the parties failed to reach a consensus over the profit sharing deal. With this latest announcement, the producers and distributors have announced that new films will be released in Government owned B and C class theatres and multiplexes.
